Announcements
Jamie Moore, Chair Coordinator: Jamie thanked all who help with the cleaning of the chairs and tables before the floor was cleaned and waxed. Those that helped included Mike Mikolayek, Char Pickereign, Kim Burch, Bob & Donna Stapleton, Russ Isham, Mike Jorgensen, Bruce Haines, Rick Clapper, Steve Taylor, Bob Hoyle, Rick Black, Vicki Manwring, and Dan Chodinski. The tables are not in their normal position for Coffee. This is still a work in process. The table legs need new feet so that chairs and tables will not be moved around a lot until this project is complete.
Patsy Zumwalt, 5 @ 5 Guys: Patsy reminded us that food will be served at the Hammock this Friday evening by the 5 @ 5 guys. The menu will be Hamburgers. Cowboy beans, and Potato Salad. Hope to see you all there.
Betty Akerman: Betty announced that on Monday, July 4, there will be a 4th of July Picnic at the Hammock. 3 pm Social Time/ 4 pm food served. The Social Club is going to furnish the hot dogs, buns and paper products. They are asking for those attending to bring a dish to pass. There is a signup sheet on the Bulletin Board in the west hall. Please sign up so that we know how many hot dogs to purchase. Tables will be cover so you don’t need bring your own. In case of inclement weather (rain or excessive heat) it will be held in the Clubhouse.
Also, today is Thursday and Bingo will be held here in the Clubhouse.
Charlie Sponcil, President of the BOD: Charlies announced since there are not Board Meetings in the summer as there are only a few Board Members here, we will hold a “Town Hall” Meeting on Monday, July 11 at 9 am in the Clubhouse. There will be no agenda; it will be whatever you want to talk about.
Spectrum boxes have been left on porches for people who are not here. If you see one, please either call Sarah with the address and Jerry will pick them up after he gets back next week or bring them to the office with their house number on it and they will keep them safe until owners return.
Mike Mikolayek, Social Club: Michael thanked all those who help with the cleaning of the Clubhouse. We need more volunteers.
Also, Mike worked for Sherwin Williams for 16 years. He went to the Sherwin Williams Store and asked if he could set up an account the people here in the Park to purchase interior and exterior paint for their homes. There was no problem; so, there will be one product for interior and one product for the exterior. He will announce the special price next week. It is called “Super Paint”; covers really great; approximately $32 - $34 a gallon. They will also give you a 15% discount on all your supplies. You should not paint exterior when it is over 85 degrees. The best time to paint is in the fall or in the early springtime. Also, do not use chlorine or bleach on your vinyl siding; it destroys the finish. If you have question, contact Mike on Peacock.

Roger Wilcox: Roger announced there is Bingo every Monday at noon and Friday evenings at the Knights of Columbus in Haines City. They would be glad to have you.
Jim Biddle: Jim related his experiences in trying to get back to LRV from Illinois to photograph Kim and Ike’s wedding. It was a very long and exasperating experience beginning with a canceled flight on Frontier Airlines and ending with a final solution with a flight on Southwest Airlines.
