Visitors: Gail Granato, Keystone, introduced her daughter and son in law, Deanne and Darrell from Pennsylvania.
Shari Haines, Serendipity: Today we can thank Dorothy Bigness in celebration of her 76th birthday yesterday, June 29. And when someone pays for the pastries, the Social Club provides the coffee and tea.
Donna Grace, corner of Sunshine and Sycamore, is having breast cancer surgery today
There was an accident out front on 27 last evening. Mark and Sue Victor, Hawkeye, were t-boned by someone driving a car without any lights on. They had their two grandsons in the car with them. Luckily there was not serious injuries, but Mark did take Sue to the emergency room. She fractured a rib.
Please keep Mark and Sue as well as Donna Grace in your thoughts and prayers this week.
I hope you all noticed the cover on the new piano this morning before it was taken off for Bonnie to provide the beautiful music that she does every Thursday morning. The new cover is a gift from the Quilt Club to LRV. The cover was designed and constructed by Miriam Harcek and quilted by Leah Richard. Many hands helped with this project – Marianne Ortenzio, Peggy Wanamacher, Dorothy Bigness, Mary Jane Palmer. I am sure I probably missed someone, but we hope this is a welcome addition to our Clubhouse.
