Kim Eickelschulte, New Residents: Kim introduced Mark Major (Cindy) new residents from Frankenmuth, MI at 260 Pelican; also, Jim and Marsha Englehart from Michigan new snowbird residents at 429 Golden.
Visitors: Marie Gardner introduced her granddaughter from Bloomington, IN; Tom Pomroy introduced his daughter, Stacey and grandsons, Colton, Wes and Beau; and Julie Jahn introduced friends from New Jersey.
Shari Haines, Serendipity: Today we have to thank the Quilt Club in appreciation of all your support for our donuts and muffins. And when someone pays for the pastries, the Social Club furnishes the coffee and tea.
I am really glad to be back, the weather yesterday let me think I was still in Illinois. I had a wonderful time with my family and even got to spend time with Peyton.
Richard Morrisey, Sycamore, if in intensive care at Heart of Florida. Richard has Covid and has two blood clots in his lungs, on oxygen and has afib. (Update: They found another blood clot in his leg. He is going to be transferred to a oxygen theraphy facility close to Orlando) Please keep Richard and Carolyn in your thoughts and prayers.
Janet Colton, Buckeye, is in a rehab facility in Winter Haven following her surgery.
Whitey Allen, Beaver, is at Coffee this morning. I asked him to stand and we gave him a round of applause for all the volunteering he has done here at LRV. Thanks, Whitey.
And a reminder that a Memorial Service for Bobby Hawk will be held on Monday, March 20, here in the Clubhouse at 1 pm,

Marcia Besser, Out of Park Activities: Marcia announced everything is on the Board. The season is winding down. It is all on the Board.
Announcements
Lanny announced the Blood Drive will be Monday, March 26, from 9 am until 2 pm. This Sunday evening, March 19, at 6 pm there will be a Gospel Concert here in the Clubhouse featuring the Common Law Quartet. A free will offering will be taken.
This coming Tuesday, March 21,will the last show of the season. Michael D’Amore will entertain us. There are a few reserved seats available and general admission tickets will be sold at the door. Chair set up will be Tuesday at 1 pm.
Jinx Rogers: Jinx reminded that the Pateo Group are selling tickets to the Spring Fling to be held on Saturday, March 25 here in the Clubhouse. Jamie & Michelle will bring the music. There will lots of door prizes and baskets to win. Tickets are $10.
Donna Williams, Craft Club: The Craft Club has not disbanded. They meet every Tuesday afternoon from 1 pm - 3 pm and also on Fridays from 1 pm – 3 pm. In the Card Room. They are flexible - since St Patrick’s Days is on this Friday they will not meet. If you have borrow the looms and/or hooks from the Craft Club and are no longer interested in making hats, please return their equipment.
Rick Maag, Boat Club: Rick reported that the Boat Club will be continuing on. New Officers have been secured – Bill Taylor, President – Rick Davy, Vice President – Jacqui Biddle, Secretary – Joan London – Treasurer and Gary Zindars – Director. Rick thank them for stepping up and carrying on the tradition of the Boat Club.
Rick reported that construction has began at the Hammock. We will be able to utilize this improvement at the St Patrick’s Day event tomorrow. Rick thanked everyone for the privilege to serve as the president of the Boat Club. Set up for the St Patrick’s Day will be at 1 pm today.
Bill Taylor, Boat Club: Bill thanked Rick for his service this last year and all that he was able to accomplish. Because of inclement weather forecast the St Patrick’s Day event was moved to Friday. Everything is going to take place on Friday – Cart Parade (line up at Clubhouse at 8:30) will begin at 9 am – Carts will be judged and prizes will be awarded. Set up will be at 1 pm today. After the event they will need volunteers for cleanup. Hat and Visors will be available for sale.
Shirley Moore, Red Hatters: Shirley reported that she has 22 women signed up for the Red Hatters Luncheon, on March 21 at Buffet City. Ladies need to sign up on the Bulletin Board. Meet at the Clubhouse so that you can get loaded before you go.
Tom Pomroy: The Spring Barbershop Program will be held Sunday, March 19, at 2:30 pm at the Calvary Baptist Church, on Overlook Drive in Winter Haven. Ticket from Tom are $5 less than at the door. It will be a good show.
