Shari Haines, Serendipity: Today we can thank our new residents, Chris & Jennifer Sible, for our donuts and muffins in memory of Jennifer’s dad, Gene Spitz who lived at 11 Blue Grass for many years He passed in August of 2020.   And, of course, when someone buys the donuts and muffins, the Social Club furnishes the coffee and tea.

I have received word of the death of Bob Metzger, a former resident at 406 Sunflower.  Bob has been living at River’s Edge in Lake Wales that last few years.

As we sit here this am, there are many of us who have or have had experienced covid.  This new strain is so highly contagious, omracon.  The symptoms don’t seem really serious – like the common cold.  But let’s take this seriously and protect ourselves and those around us.  If you have cold like symptoms, stay home; when out and about, wear your mask when you are indoors.  I know; I hate them also.

If 2021 told us anything….

It tells us to enjoy the moments we have,

And don’t take any day, anything or

Anyone for granted.
