Lake Region Coffee News – June 24, 2021

 

Before Coffee this morning Michael Jorgensen entertained us with a song dedicated to Bonnie “You Make Me Feel So Young”.  Thank you, Michael!!!!

       New Residents, Kim Birch: Lois Aldefer pitch hit for Kim this morning.  There were no new residents present today

       Visitors: Dave McComber, Hawkeye, introduced his friend,

Out-of-Park Activities, Marcia Besser:  No report from Marcia this morning.  All information is on the Bulletin Board in the west hall.

Shari Haines, Serendipity: Today we can thank Ned Kinzie for our donuts and muffins.  They are in celebration of his 91st birthday on June 20.  And, of course, when someone buys the donuts and muffins, the Social Club furnishes the coffee and tea.

Bruce and I returned from Illinois last night about midnight.  We flew up to Illinois for a quick trip. Our oldest son, Steve, was named “Athletic Director of the Year” for the state of Illinois.  We had to be there for the award. It was a late night and an even earlier morning today.

       Phil Granger, 122 Buckeye Terrace, has returned home after rehab for a new replacement.  He is doing well

       Bill Bailey, 580 Sunshine, has returned home from rehab.

There were no other illness or health concerns. Everyone please stay well.
